Prefix Essentials 2.3.2

Prefix Essentials adds new, essential, prefix related features.
Note that this addon is not compatible with the Multiple Prefix addon.

Expiring Prefixes​

New in Prefix Essentials 2.3 is some new, powerful functionality - expiring prefixes.

Prefixes can be set to expire automatically or manually by the user and on expiry, several actions can be applied to the thread.

When to expire​

On a per-prefix basis, prefixes can be set to expire

• At the user’s discretion, on specific date and time, entered when creating/editing the thread with the selected prefix

• Or after an admin set number of minutes since
  • The thread was created or
  • The last post was made (including the first post)
• Or when the user presses a custom prefix action button (Deal Agreed in the screenshot below)

Forum View - Prefix filter​

• At the top of the thread list, it shows the prefixes used by threads. Clicking each prefix applies the filter to only show threads with that prefix.
  • Shows prefix counts.
  • Respects thread visibility.
  • Respects user prefix ignoring.
• Makes it more convenient to filter the threads by prefix (still available via the “Filters” menu)
• This can be toggled on or off with an admin option.
