i do not think default 6.0 code have issue .you can use it without change ,do not forget change APP_URL=https://www.google.com with your domain .and if you have use nginx .you nee to config nginx.cnf .apache was not need to config .htaccess
Anyway, when a 500 error occurs, you should change .env from APP_DEBUG=false to APP_DEBUG=true to learn detail
